East of Scotland Fundraising
for Teenage Cancer Trust
Welcome to my website!
To celebrate my 50th birthday in December 2006 I
decided to raise £50,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust.
Cancer is the most common cause of non-accidental death
in teens and young adults in the UK. Every day in the UK, 6 teenagers
are diagnosed with cancer.
Teenage Cancer Trust focusses on the needs of
teenagers and young adults with cancer by providing specialist teenage
units in NHS Hospitals.
Total raised at 31 December2006 was a
fantastic £54,900!!!
its now early 2008 and total raised is well over
£150,000
thank you to everyone who supported me and donated
last year!
But we are moving on now and it's 2008
- we need more support so that we can have a Unit in Edinburgh - help us
by coming to our events, sponsoring us on our challenges or just making
a straight donation to TCT!

The CD is designed by Feel Good Therapies and aims to
support young people and their specific needs during this
time (eg self esteem issues, bullying, stress and exams
etc). Some of the tracks can be grouped together to give a
longer sequence or they can be used individually for a
shorter relaxation exercise. The CD is a good introduction
to trying these exercises at home. All exercise contains
spoken word and the last 2 tracks contain music. There are 7
exercises to try - "Relaxation", "Relaxation with Breath",
"Counting the breath", "Breath of Life", "Colour Breathing",
"Protection and Healing" and "Flight of Freedom". (Total
running time is 49m26s)
This CD is the Chill Zone version and retails at
£9.99. P & P is £1.25 for the first CD (26p p+p for each
subsequent CD purchase)

Zoe King
I am so sorry to have to tell you that our amazing TCT supporter and
fundraiser Zoe passed away on Wednesday 12 September 2007.
I am so glad I met her - she inspired me to continue fundraising for
Teenage Cancer Trust and was such a lovely talented young woman.
I will always remember her.
As you
can see above I am continuing to fundraise for TCT but now in Zoe's
name. We will one day see her dream realised.
